The developer tried but was denied in obtaining a zoning variance to increase the sign height. J. Michael Brill, P.E., P.L.S. presented an idea to the developer that was accepted by both of them and ultimately Township officials. The idea was a design of a landscape mound 25 feet high, placing the 45 foot high pylon sign on top. The mound was designed and constructed and is a very attractive element of the site.
